We brought an Oliver 1655 diesel back into the US this past January that I had bought. Have the tractors clean and if the owner is with the tractor you will have no problem. If the owner is not with the tractor, then the Canadian seller has to be registered with a border broker and for a fee the broker will get the tractor thru customs. This was my experience coming back into the US into Vermont.
