Well one thing for sure you are looking at 2 of the best small tractors ever built.Both will do a great job if they are in the same shape.being loader tractors check the front ends for wear. Think about parts if and when you need them whats you nearest dealer do you know them and will they take care of you I've got a ford dealer in my back yard that could care less if he never had to sell parts to anyone and a massey dealer that is 60 miles 1 way that treats me like im his only customer. Best bet is to check your major wear parts and look at what tractors are in your area

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
