Any price I see on a tractor is a STARTING POINT. No one in their right mind, trying to sell a tractor with an overblown price, expects to sell it for the "listed" price. On the other hand, I've sold a few over the years, for WAY more than they're worth. I see it as a buyers market. If someone has an old junker that they want to get rid of, and I have a pocket full of cash, I HAVE THE UPPER HAND. If they want to sell, they're going to have to move towards me. Then you have the "nuts", that think something is worth more becouse it's theirs. They can keep it. It's the same story with ANYTHING that's for sale. It all depends on how bad they want to sell, and how bad you want to buy. Some people "target" those buyers that "Just can't live without it". There is a "dealer" near me, that prices EVERYTHING 50% to 75% above it's true worth. He doesn't sell anything in a hurry, but for some reason, he finally sells his stuff. There is a buyer out there for anything, at any price.

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
