It really depends what you are raising. Are you irrigated or dry? Are you haying alfalfa or grass hay?

We've always raised irrigated alfalfa here; and therefore we need heavy equipment. Back in the old days when we used to stack using a F-10 loader, we learned early on that one sweepful of good alfalfa hay can break a tractor completely in two, if it was not gusseted front to back and also would pop front tires like bubble gum if the front end of the tractor was not configured correctly. Thankfully those days are done.

For your 15 acres, I would guess that you would want one tractor, which can 'do it all'. Maybe the '06s or the 56s? That 656 was one sweet little tractor or all around work as you suggest you need. Moving up a little, the 766 was a nice unit too.
