well why is it that she objects to it, are you trying to get her to come up with the money and buy it for you, or do ya just want her to let you keep it there, i was 18 when i got my caterpillar road grader, it was a freebie cause the engine had frozen and cracked all over, nothing that a spare ford 300 six and alot of fabrication couldnt fix. i asked my dad if it was ok if i got the road grader, he said yea sure, then i let him deal with my mother, who didnt take as kindly to the idea of having a giant road grader around, but we have alot of land so it wasnt too bad. i then bought my ford 8000 the next year, paid 4000 bucks for it, my mother was basicly just like its your money do what ya want, even tho she didnt see why i needed it.
