Bingo. Allan is 100% correct. While I'm not a Rotella fan, it does carry the latest gasoline specs (API SL & SJ). API specs are backwards compatible, meaning that if your engine calls for an SC (1967 and older spec) for example, an oil meeting the SJ rating (2001 and older) will cover it. This is NOT always true for diesel engines and specs. And oils made for use in cars (ie Mobil DCO or Chevron Supreme) should NEVER be used in diesels, EVEN if the weight is correct. The only thing going against you is the 15W40 rating, where your tractor calls for #30. However, frequency of oil changes is HUGELY more important than viscosity. If you have the 15W40 on hand, and will change more often because you do, then use it. If you have to run out and buy a case of #30 every time you change oil, you will likely put it off. Anyways, that's my 2 bits.
