Thanks for the comments guys. My filter base has a ball valve. What is strange is the filter will have fuel in it just before starting, (after an extended time sitting) but will empty quickly after starting the engine. So the leak must be prior to the filter? I have not traced the feeder line to the filter. I will do that this weekend and check the fittings there. Hmmm, I wonder if the vent lines on my tanks might have gotten plugged. Maybe an insect packed them full of mud. Another thing to check!
