I have owned Bobcats for over 10 years now and use them year round. I have never seen the need to heat the hydrolic oil before you start it. After you start the bobcat in very cold weather let it sit and idle for about 10 minuters before you try to work it. If you need to move it as soon as you start it just go at 1/4 throttle and it will be okay. When it warms up you are ready to get at it. Use the Bobcat brand oil and it is thin enough to work well at all temps. I make a living with my bobcats and use them but never abuse them. I have to pay the bills for repairs so that makes me careful about the way I treat them.
