I used to farm, but lived in a small town. One day I just happened to see a fellow church goer driving around in my pasture, to see what some dirt work was all about. I considered just driving around in his pasture until he caught me and asked me what I was doing, to which I would have responded, "Same thing as you, just being nosey." At any rate, I decided against it. I opted for another method of getting even instead. I just happened to have an out of town real estate sign that was left after a property sale of a home. I placed the sign by the guys house, in a kind of porch offset so that he wouldn't see it. The talk was all over town--speculation as to why they might be leaving, and where they might be moving to, and even how much they would want for their home. Several days after I had posted the faux "For Sale" sign, they finally found out themselves. It was only when someone called to find out their asking price for their home. Some 20 years have passed since then, and the guy still doesn't know I did it. Do two wrongs make a right? No, and I wouldn't do it again. It did provide some harmless fun at the time though.
