I've got a Perkins diesel in my Long R9500 - take a peak at it - just posted it in the photos. The tractor sat for 5 years. after draining off the old diesel, replacing the fuel filters, and putting good fuel in, we cracked the injectors, bleed them off, replaced the battery and the tracotr started right up. I haven't touched the motor any more than that. It's a very strong, and dependable motor. If I ever buy anoth tractor, I'd want a Perkins like this one.
