I don't normally say things like this, but here goes. You are an IDIOT. If it wasn't for all of us "welfare farmers", you would be spending most of your paycheck, just to feed yourself. (It breaks my heart that I work so hard to feed the likes of you) Government programs are by design, an attemt to keep prices under control, while allowing us to make a living. That's a joke all unto itself. We don't get rich. We don't even make a GOOD living, for all the trouble/risk/investment we make. The next time you feel like shooting your mouth off about what you "percieve" as welfare, why don't you show up at a farm auction, where a life-long farmer has to sell off all his equipment, and farm, becouse he couldn't pay the morgage. Then get on your soapbox, and state your sorry case. See if you get out of there alive. I would much rather let farm prices "adjust" themselves, so that there wouldn't be a need for government intervention, but folks like you would cry like babies if you had to pay the prices we need to survive in todays world. We are still getting 1940's prices for our corn. We pay 2003 prices for what we buy, to put that crop in the field. Show me where that's fair. I could go on forever, but in my humble opinion, you're not worth the time. In case you might think that I'm alone in my opinion, just read the rest of these post's. The entire world isn't wrong, and you're certainly not right about this one, my friend. Indydirtfarmer
