I would think that the Drott 4-in-1 bucket was stronger than that, after all an 8 foot hollow log isn't that heavy a load, and the bucket should be able to handle anything the loader can lift, so I dont think you overloaded it after all so you can spare yourself the dope slap. Probably something must have weakened the bucket before your ill-fated lift. You might carefully try giving it some down pressure concentrated on carefully chosen location on the high side to spring it back into shape but you want to be careful at the same time not to spring the jaw part so it wont close properly. I'd check the bucket system real carefully to see that it has all the reinfoircement it should have had originally, as a hollow log should not spring a bucket like that. excuse the long post, and i wish you good luck on that,
