Cost of the Toy

Hi Guys! Let’s face it. It is just a toy and that’s all it is. I moved up here in the hills because I like being in the trees. Now, no one ever told me that when it snows, you must use a multiplier of 8 as compared to the flat land when it comes to snowfall amounts. Okay, so I think, “Well, I’ll just buy an old tractor, throw a loader on it and clear my driveways as required.” Silly thought; as I’m adding up the total cost now. :>) Old tractor $1850.00
Hauling Fee 200.00
Wide Front 813.00
Used Loader 1000.00
Tire Chains 247.00 So, here I sit with a fifty-year-old tractor mounted with a forty-year-old loader costing me over four grand so I can go out and play in the snow. Aw, but she is one sweet old gal, and the sound of that old engine is absolutely priceless. Allan

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
