Central Alberta last year was so dry here there was next to no hay. Lots of grainland got sacificed for silage. Two 30' swaths together equaled 20' on a normal year. 5x6 rounds were $80-$175per bale and straw was $60-$80 per bale. This year was an ok year, still dry but had satisfactory rain. 5x6 rounds grass mix $30-$40, alfalfa $35-$50.
