Huh? What? Think long and hard about that. When I was 17 I used to love to listen to a diesel scream on a cold morning with a straight pipe. Now I'm 35 and have differential hearing loss in my left ear. Almost 60% gone in it and 15% in the right one. Cant tell it hurts you if you are in a cab but on an open tractor I know it does.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
