I farm, as quite a few folks have at least a background in farming around here. I put 300 hours per year as a minimum on each of 6 tractors. I looked at these China tractors, Jinma dealer & Homier sales. They have poor paint, rusting already & weren't even sold. They have very, very poor looking hyd controls on the loader controls, I would break them in 50 hours, and i'm pretty gentle on my equipment. The whole fit & finish looks poor. Tolerances for various things just look like parts are waiting to fall off. If someone needs a tractor for 50 hours a year, you probably could get by without a tractor, or rent, or get a $4000 old tractor. Buying these China tractors, you will be stuck with it. No one is going to pay much at all for a used one. While I have never run one, I've inspected them, and there is little good to say about their design or quality. If one has to have a new tractor, and won't actually use it, and does not need to depend on it, then I suppose it's an ok purchase. I'm not trying to pick on you Dan, I'm just offering my opinion to the original poster. I'm glad the machine has worked well for you. My local mechanic would have a dozen or so stories of total falures, with very difficult parts sourcing. At least the parts are so crude, a lot he could have built at the local machine shop, and were far better than oem. Forty years ago cars from Japan were a joke. Now they are some of the best quality. Welcome to China. We might get good tractors from them in 40 years..... --->Paul

The difficulty with all those "theory of operation" texts is that they border on principles of electricity or physics and such. Since I know nothing of either, you will have to put up with looking at the common sense side of how generators work which means we "
