If you actually finished everything you headed out to do without getting sidetracked somewhere along the way you'd never have any half finished projects to get sidetracked onto the next time you went out to do something. It may take 8 hours over 6 months to get one 30 minute job complete, but just look at all the other work that gets done at the same time. That's what puttering around is all about, just a bunch of little jobs to keep things busy, and exciting without any one of them getting to the point of being boring. Besides for those of you that are married, it always gives you at least one project to use as a weak excuse that you already to have "something important" to do when the dreaded HONEYDEW list comes up..... Have fun puttering.....
