Allan: To begin with...I'm a female...not a guy, and yes, I do need permission should I decide to replicate the photo. In other words, I'm not going to steal anyone's image. I am asking for permission. I don't own a tractor myself and a friend of mine referred me to this site. I know there are a lot of tractor owners out there who are darn proud of their tractors - especially the ones they've had refurbished. I'm offering them the opportunity of having their tractor on the face of a 10" clock and 10" thermometer - no charge. I'll even pay for shipping the 2 pieces to you. Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
