My favorite is when someone compares the tractor you are selling to something twice or half it's price. I have a nice ford for sale right now, $3000 no dicker. I will keep it if I cant get it. Anyhow, these folks start telling me about an AC WD for $1800 - of course it has rotted rims, no rubber, and bad tin (they tell me all this) - yet they think mine is over priced... Or when I was selling a $6000 MF Diesel in nice nice shape people come comparing it to a new one...$15,000+ !!! Really strange how folks do that! I guess the other thing that irks me is when people come to look at a Ford N and then complain that Ns dont have live PTO - why did they come to look? Sheesh. I tell 'em to take a hike. I always get my price, with someone who actually appreciates the machine.
