I had the same problem with my 730. I tried to get a new fiber/friction washer from Deere but the dealer told me they don't make such a thing and the whole throttle lever is no longer available. When I took it apart the fiber washer looked like it was made out of either clutch or brake facing material. I got a piece of new brake lining material from a local engine and brake rebuilder. I used a hole saw to cut out another washer for my throttle lever. It ended up working great and was a simple fix. If you use clutch or brake linings make sure you keep them wet when you work the material, ie: sawing and drilling as some linings contain asbestos. Keeping the material moist will reduce any dust.
