Certainly they will not start up an ag division. Anything is possible, and they could buy out one of the current ag companies if they see it as a good investment some years down the road. Big companies always buy others to diversify, and then when the floor fall out from under they sell off divisions to 'work with the core business'. But they certainly will never fire up tooling on their own & start up an ag division from scratch. Not ever. Fiat is also having $$$ troubles, and like Ford in the 80s, they are spending less on the ag divisions & trying to shore up their auto divisions.
