I never used a back blade, but I watched my neighbor do it with an older ford 3000 with rear 3pt. blade. For smaller snow, under 6" it seemed to work okay with the blade angled. The heavy snow would seem to clog the blade and just pull the mess in behind the rear tires. (messy) I would think that plowing in reverse with the blade reversed would work best, just drive backwards and every 20-30 feet just push it into a pile. Of course having a front blade works best I think.
