My father is in his 80's and cant get on a tractor any more. He knows how to drive a tractor, it is just that getting on and getting off part he has trouble with. I have a Farmall H and a Kuboda, one day he said that he may try to get on the kuboda if I put an extra step on it. I dont think it will be that easy because of the gear shift and the pto lever that is just like a second gear shifter coming out of that transmition hump. Has anyone seen a tractor modified so that someone with back and knee problems can get on and off of it easily ? It looks like a Farmall H has alot of room for modifications. It would be OK to get another tractor like a farmall cub or something that would keep its value. A modified tractor would be mostly used for my father to drive around the ranch and the land is mostly flat, flat enough to drive a narrow front end Farmall on. The most I would hope he would do with it would be to mow or pull a trailer. I would be thankful for any ideas or information Tony
