I recently sold a JD 4020. Prior to selling it I was contacted by a guy in South Africa. He states he will pay for the price of the tractor and asks that if he sent the shipping costs also if I would then forward the money to the shipper to get him in route. This guy was expecting me to receive the (counterfiet cashiers check) and immediately wire money to another guy before anyone realized the check was bogus. I have a hard time believing that anyone would wire money before the money was in the bank, but that is just me. Alot of bad guys out there, be carefull!! PS. I played along with the guy and sent all of his info., along with the bad cashiers check to the FTC.
