Chris You may want to leave the suspension off the tractor. When digging even wit hthe loader springs wouldnt last long or cause stability isues. I have a cousin that made a tractor loader and backhoe from a Datsun motor and transmission, and a Moline tractor rear end and transmission hooked in tandem. I posted some of the pics on tractorbynet.com in the buildit yourself forums. I also posted a another friends home built 4x4x4 loader. Jimmys backhoe works well and is about the size of the midsize machine Kubota makes now.
