I got the tractor bug in 1997,even though I didnt have any restored tractors, most of our old tractors were still working doing some odd job, plowing a garden, bushogging a feild for the neighbor,or something.Well, paw dies in 1999 so I decided Id fix up his ole M,but lacking the knowledge and experience, and the shop and tools to do the job, I asked a guy that we knew who restored tractors to help me and Id pay him what he thought was fair.Well after 7 months of long evenings and three day weekends she was done.I joined the same tractor club he was in and in May of 2000 we had our club show.I had invited some friends who are Shriners,to bring their little pulling garden tractors and were for the most part nice all day. Then the president of the club complained about them selling tickets to raffle a pedal tractor. One guy got mad and chewed her out.She came up[ to me and told me if I was going to invite those "kind of people",I wasnt welcome in their club.Havent seen any of them since!

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
