My wife wanted one so bad because her mother has one that has been used hard for four seasons with no problems. I thought by looking at the mantis, it would be to small for anything, but I was convinced to try it and I was very impressed! The tines are very aggresive and it has plenty of power; also is easy to start. Here in Northeast MO , all we have on the hills is hard nasty clay and it will tear through it. The best part of it all is that the wife can start it and use it, so husband can do more important things like sip barley-pop on the porch!
