I don't think it will really appeal to tractor crowd to see a purple H with chrome wheels, big V8 with headers and flames painted on the hood. Tractors have rural/work/good old days appeal. Hot rods have that crusin/girls/oldies charm. Seems like it's more acceptable to alter autos. Cars appeal to a wide percentage of the population, old young, male and female. That said, if you were to build a street tractor, you certainly would draw a lot of attention. Using a common tractor like the H would draw less criticism. If you own it, you can do what you please.
