You need to look for a Ford 870 to get the live pto. This tractor has 42hp. Average price here in Missouri is $4200 - $4800. A Ford 670 is a 32hp tractor with live pto. Prices $3500 - $4500. These tractors are all '55 to '58's unless it is an 871 or 671 then they are '59 to '61's. They are great all round tractors a little heavy for finish mowing 3000lbs to 3900lbs or more if the tires are loaded. they aren't geared low enough for tilling or snowblower work unless the have a 2 speed transmission. I don't know about other brands and the newer compacts that would be ideal cost a whole lot more than you're looking to spend. Good Luck
