Jim: I've been hearing a tremendous amount about flipped over tractors. I'm not an experienced tractor operator, but have done a bit of accident report/recording at work and I'm, curious as to how a tractor gets flipped over backward so quickly. I understand the "leverage" principle and why loaders tip over, but how "fast" can a tractor flip over backward. It would seem that if the nose lifted, you could dump the clutch and bring it down. I'm not being critical. Just a novice with an interest in agricultural equipment. I too am sorry for Andy's loss. May thanks Gordon NH

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
