That seems to be a weakness in otherwise excellent tractors. Every Ferguson I've had leaks down, and I haven't found the fix in 30 years. It really doesn't hurt operations, but it is a safety hazard, and you learn to park with the 3-point control down so you don't have a nasty surprise when starting! My $.03 (Cdn, eh? worth $.02 US!)
