I've had that problem too, so I've gotten into the habit of
highlighting and copying my text to the clipboard
BEFORE I go back to edit the message. I've found that
going 'back' and then 'back' and then 'forward' sometimes
gets the window to appear. If you have copied the text
you will feel more like experimenting....my TCW.
