Chris...Harlan and his Dad live in Oakland,Mn not too far from where I live. I have been to their farm as they sell alot of 2 cylinder JD's. They seem to be people that "buy and sell" a lot of JD items and intend to be in the business for awhile and generally treat people fairly. Have you tried to contact him via phone??

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
