If you're sure the battery condition is ok you can try this - Remove the neg. battery cable and connect a test light from the battery terminal to the cable. If the test light comes on you have a short circuit somewhere. You can then take out fuses one at a time, checking the light each time you pull a fuse. (If the dome light works, this will cause the test light to be on when the door is open, you can remove the dome light bulb to eliminate this). When the light goes out, you have discovered the circuit that is shorted. I have used this method successfully many times. Occasionally it fails and that makes it much harder to find the problem. Another possibility is the alternator could be defective, causing a current drain. You can unplug the wires on the alt. to test it also.
