I should have read down a bit. I will agree with the post below on a crawler for the tree clearing part. A crawler loader would be the machine to use, but will set yo back quite a bit more than a tractor, and the tractor will be more useful for other projects. Check around the equipment dealers as most will RENT you a crawler by the week/month. We rented a track loader for a week to clear some land a few years ago and it cost about $1300.00 + fuel. If you can run it yourself, that would be the way to go. I run equipment for a living so we didn't have to pay an operator to do it.
