I am kindof a young'n on this forum (no offense, really) but my mother just recently found a 70s picture of me on my uncle's IH 300. I figure I was about 7yrs old, and he stood on the draw bar while I steered it around the field. The first machine I really solo operated was a Sears SS16 garden tractor. Mowed forever on that little tractor, probably starting at about 7. My sons are 2.5 and 4.5 yrs old, and I cant wait to get them behind the wheel of my 2n. (by that time I also hope to have a Farmall H in the shed) Nothing better than teaching young men to respect equipment at an early age.
