It was in about '58 or '59. I would have been 8 or 9 years old. I would hand load an old steel wheeled New Idea manure speader with chicken litter. Then I would "get to drive" the 1945 Allis WC to the field and spread it! What a deal, huh? I still have the old WC. Some great memories there!

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
