I'd go for the V10. My brothers have 4 of the Power Stroke 7.3s and 2 V10s. The V10s are in a F250 Superduty and a F350 Superduty. They both get BETTER MILEAGE then the 7.3s when empty (about 16) and a little less when loaded (varies). Considering that half the time diesel is higher then gas it hardly makes any sense unless you are going to be pulling with more then 50% of your miles. Of the Triton engines I think it is the only one better then the pushrod engine it replaced (460). The main problem I have heard about the V10 is blowing spark plugs after they have been changed. The reason for this people changing them and not using a torque wrench to tighten them or not following factory specs with the torque amount. They strip the threads on the aluminum head and don't know it until it lets go while going down the road. Get something in writing from the dealer or have him change the plugs before buying. It can be a VERY expensive problem to find a year from now.

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
