The injectors can be calibrated, rebuilt (with new tips) or bought new. Last set I bought cost $36 each and took me three hours to put them in.
As far as seeing 6.2s and 6.5s on the road, I see lots of them, and I've got four myself. If you watch the news on TV and see shots of our military in HUMVEES, then you're seeing more G.M. 6.5s because that's what powers them.
