I have Coop tires on the rear of my Farmall 560, 14.9 x 38 I think. This was once my uncle's tractor and he put them on in Central Minnesota in the 1980's. They have the same tread design you describe too. I don't know who made them for Coop sales, but they seem to be lasting for me. I think they are thicker than 4 ply though but at 6:20 a.m. and 0 degrees I am not going to run out and check, chores have already been done :-)
