When I was in the Marines we had a system for getting tracked vehicles unstuck worked like a charm. These Amtracs were 40 tons so when they got stuck there you were. We hooked big 1" tow cables to the tracks anchored the other end to a large tree or another Amtrac,put the tractor in reverse and let it wind the cable up around the tracks. Walked it right out every time.
