A couple weeks ago, I was conversing with a gentleman from the Netherlands. He described a similar problem with his tractor... I advised him to check several things... ended up being the POINTS!!! I read your previous post... from the factory, the points were under the distributor cap. You take off the dist. cap, the rotor, then you're looking at the points. If there are no points, you need to trace wires leading from your distributor. A very wise old mechanic once told me... 99% of carburetor problems are electrical. When I have an engine that's not running well... I check the ENTIRE electrical system before ever touching the carb!!! If you start turning screws on the carb right away, you're generally just making a lot of extra work for yourself!
