It's been quite a few years since I worked with one of these. I worked at a shop that was the first dealer for SAME in Central Texas. As far as I know and can remember, the only other tractor that used the same front wheel drive axle was either the Bison or the Hercules. Both of which were SAME models. The Bison is a 105 horse and the Hercules is a 160 horse. Hope you have good luck with this tractor. I've seen the Buffalo play with plows that a John Deere 4440 and Allis Chalmers had to gear down to pull. It also used a lot less fuel doing it. I prefer an American made product, but will give credit to this Italian made equipment. The SAME is/was a lot easier to work on when required.
