I have an IH2444 ( industrial 444 ) with a 2050 loader. It has the front mounte pump. If you put a fromt pump on it that uses the tranny as the sump you will need to put in about 15 gal of HYtran ( or equiv) . My manual says if equipped with front pump to add hyd fluid until it is 6 inches bleow the top level of the transmission case, at the fill hole/vent beside gearshift. My friend had the same tractor without the front pump with a trip loader on it, Works fine, won't lift quite as much as mine and a bit slower, but ok. And yes the power steering works fine with the loader on it. There is a priority flow devider for the poower steering before it gets to the aux valves.
