Many years ago, i drove one of those little Renault rear engine cars. The fuel filler tank was under the engine cover, on the right rear corner of the car. The radiator cap was at the front of the engine, about in the middle of the opening. I stopped for gas one night, and just in time i caught the attendant ready to put gas in the radiator! What a mess that would have made, eh! Oh, yes, folks ragged me about that car, but it was like a mountain goat on hilly, snow covered mountain roads--never needed tire chains, just Michelin X tires!
