JW, My planting time spent in the TX/OK panhandle a planting, was spent on a JD 4630 & 4640. Both tractors had Powershifts. I agree with 4020dt. We pulled an IH cyclo 900 planter. Up shifted, throtteled back to 1500 rpms. Talk about fuel economy! Best thing is the up and down shifts at the end of each through. No clutch needed at all.
