Darrell-Over the past 18 months, I have used 4 or 5 of these in vehicles with the situation you described and it resolved the problem. I have had 100% good results to date. I even put one in my mom's car because she dosen't drive much anymore and her car sits for a month or so between starts and she was always stressing about this. I put a Optima in and she no longer has a problem. Now when I replace a battery in a car,truck or tractor, it's an Optima.
