I boughht a 97 diesel 3 years ago and paid 1200.00 at a auction .Didnt get to drive it first but said it ran ok.Well the motor ran fine but the ring & pinion had teeth missing. Can do my own work found the parts and fixed it gave it a paint job looks great. The 97 was built by M&M company be cause Massey had not made a 100hp tractor yet and wanted to get in the market. They where built 62,63,64 they where not made in a row crop but wheat land type. The Moline version of the 97 was the G705 504 cid in propane or diesel motors.I think their was about 2000 diesels & 400 lp made. Most parts can be found yet through agco. or salvage yards.
