This didn't happen in front of any people, but about a year ago my dad and I had to move my JD 80, and decided to start it as well. Couldn't use the pony as the wiring was all unhooked. So pulled it with our Case VAC. Boy was that little tractor getting a workout! But the 80 wouldn't fire! Pulled it the length of the field before I realized that I still had the decompression lever back! Ooops. Gave 'er compression and it fired right off!
