This is from experience, and I've still got the junk to prove it:
Careful with that hammer!: There's a flat disk over the bearing on the impulse end of the shaft. If I recall correctly, the bearing has snap rings on both the ID (shaft) and the O.D. (housing) underneath that disk. Don't know how you get the disk out. Best call that guy the others reccommended.
